Buffalo and Erie Railway

History

The Buffalo and Erie Railway was an electric railway between the two cities.  It was formed on July 1, 1924 when the Buffalo and Lake Erie Traction Company reorganized.  It lasted until about 1932 when the line was abandoned.

Below is an employee pass for the Buffalo and Erie Railway.

Note: There was also a Buffalo and Erie Railroad that operated between the two cities and became part of the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern system.
