Car 300 was part of a six car order built by the Cincinnati Car Company in 1914 for the Jamestown, Westfield & Northwestern Railroad. It was delivered with 60 seats and controls at each end. The coach seats were leather covered while those in the smoking compartment were covered with rattan. The car was retired in the early 1920s after it was damaged in a collision with a freight train. When car 300 hit the caboose of the freight train the force of the collision overturned the stove which set the caboose on fire, destroying it. Car 300 was severely damaged when it could not move away from the burning caboose because the power was cut.
