Jamestown Street Railway
Car 92

This photo shows Jamestown Street Railway Car 92, a single-truck, single-end, one-man steel cars with arch roof and magnetic track brakes built by the St. Louis Car Company in 1926. This car was used only on the Willard loop where its magnetic track brake was used on the particularly steep Swede Hill.

This photo is marked June 1942, well after the company's demise in 1938. The photo may be mismarked, or the car could have been waiting for sale. Many of these cars were later sold as guest cottages on Chautauqua Lake.

This undated photograph shows the car along its route.

This undated photo shows the car rounding the Willard Loop.
