Rochester and Pittsburgh Engine 21
"Carrollton"
This photograph shows Rochester and Pittsburgh Railroad locomotive number 21, the "Carrollton". The engine was built in 1882 by the Brooks Locomotive Works in Dunkirk, NY as part of an order for five 2-8-0 "Consolidation" locomotives the company placed with Brooks that year.
