The Buffalo, Rochester and Pittsburgh Railway had a large facility in East Salamanca that included a yard, roundhouse, locomotive repair shop, and passenger station. The company also had a smaller passenger station in downtown Salamanca. This station was across the street from the Erie Railroad station in Salamanca and allowed for easy transfers between the railroads.
The BR&P station in Salamanca still stands and is the home of the Salamanca Rail Museum.
