A new grain elevator and extensive storehouses are soon to be built by the Erie Railroad, on the Hoboken basin. They will complete next summer. The elevator will have a capacity of 1,000,000 bushels of grain. It will be on one side of the basin and the storehouses on the other. These improvements will largely increase the facilities of the road for moving grain.
