Silver Springs, New York

Silver Springs is a village in Wyoming county.  This 1905 topographic map shows the Erie and BR&P lines in Silver Springs. The Erie Railroad is highlighted in red, the Buffalo, Rochester and Pittsburgh Railway mainline in blue, and the BR&P Silver Lake branch in green.

The 1905 map below shows more detail on the interchange between the Erie to the left of the station and the BR&P (formerly the Silver Lake Railroad) to the right.

The passenger station in the village was shared by both the Erie Railroad and the Buffalo, Rochester and Pittsburgh.  It is still standing and used as a storage facility by the railroad.
