NE Junction, New York
The following photographs show the tower at NE (Niobe) Junction on the Erie Railroad, just east of the New York - Pennsylvania border. The tower was burned by an arsonist in the late 1980s and all that remains today is a concrete slab.

A view of train passing NE tower. Date and photographer unknown.

A view of the track side of the tower.

This 1977 photo shows a Conrail snowplow passing NE tower.

This undated photo shows the concrete base after the fire. Reports are
that even the concrete walls are now gone.
