
This photograph shows Mr. Charles T. Terry, a yardmaster in Jamestown, NY from 1887 to an unknown date. I know nothing more about Mr. Terry than appears on this photo, but am presuming that he was the yardmaster for the Erie Railroad as the only other railroad in town at that time was the Chautauqua Lake Railway which only reached Jamestown in 1887 and was unlikely to have a significant yard.
