Belmont, New York

Belmont is the county seat of Allegany county and was served by both the Buffalo and Susquehanna Railroad and the Erie Railroad.  The 1925 topographic map above shows the route of the Erie through the town.  The 1929 map below shows the location of the Erie station at the foot of Stewart Street.
